Operate DSLR Camera Types
In my work I had the opportunity to use a DSLR camera with video capability, the device I used was the Canon EOS 1300D this device allowed me to gain experience and learn the manual settings that the camera offers. The reason why I decided to use the manual settings is because it allows me to achieve what I want, I am able to do this by adjusting the aperture and f-stops on the camera to achieve depth of field and be able to focus on a specific object or motion, in addition to that I am able to change the ISO so that I am able to achieve the perfect amount of light going in, by doing doing this I am able to manually control the feel and the overall aesthetic of the image. In comparison to the Panasonic HDC-SD40 which is a camera which allows the user to take pictures and film footage but the overall design of the device is very simple and may be difficult to hold by some users to to its shape. Furthermore the Panasonic is much more simple compared to the DSLR Canon which allows the user to use custom settings and control everything where the Panasonic has very few options when it comes to taking control of the video footage.
