Studio Set Up

Studio Set Up:

The lighting setup in a studio will usually consist of two to three lights, these will be placed around the room in specific locations and then shone at the subject in a way that the desired lighting effect is acquired and that there are no shadows in the background that may ruin the shot or if there are two shadows visible one of the lights can be moved or another can be added to cancel out the shadows and therefore making the whole shot much more natural and pleasant to the eye. A very simple studio setup can be laid out in a way that the subject stands in the middle in front of a camera, there is most commonly a white or a bright colored background followed by two studio light one each side facing the subject and then two reflectors are also used to cancel out any shadows, blurs or unwanted lighting effects.
