Film Theatre

Film Theatre:

The light setup commonly found in a film theatre will most likely be a rack with a set of lights on it lighting up the subject on stage, this is a very simple light setup and it can cause the subject to look very two dimensional. That's where the basic four-point lighting comes in where light one is aimed at the subject, being the main light and usually the brightest one, light two works as a filler to the setup, the third light is called the back light and it illuminates the back of the subject which will result in the subject looking much more three-dimensional to the audience and finally light four is used to light up the background to help contrast the subject with the background.
